Bearna Golf Club – Spring out of Lockdown League 2022

 

This is a 9 Hole Mixed Stableford Competition

 

1.              The competition runs for 5 weeks from Sun 6th February to Saturday 12th March, 2022.

 

●                Wk 1 - Sun 6th Feb 2022 to Sat 12th Feb 2022 (inclusive)       

●                Wk 2 - Sun 13th Feb 2022 to Sat 19th Feb 2022 (inclusive)     

●                Wk 3 - Sun 20th Feb 2022 to Sat 26th Feb 2022 (inclusive)     

●                Wk 4 - Sun 27th Feb 2022 to Sat 5th Mar 2022 (inclusive)      

●                Wk 5 - Sun 6th Mar 2022 to Sat 12th Mar 2022 (inclusive)

                   

●                Presentation of Prizes on Thursday 17th March after the Drive-In Scramble

2.              A member can play any day of the week. The best card returned by each individual within the week will count towards the team score. Re-entry is allowed but a player can only enter 3 times in one week.

3.              The 3 best cards from each team over the week count towards the team score for that week.

4.              For each team the best 4 weeks scores out of the 5 weeks will count towards their total score.

5.              You must fill out separate cards if you are playing in the men’s/ladies weekly competition at the same time as the Spring league.

6.              You must enter in the ‘Spring League’ Competition on the computer or on your phone app before starting each round and check the noticeboard for conditions of play and any local rules.

7.              A once off €20 entry fee will be deducted from your account. Please ensure there are sufficient funds in your account before the competition starts this Sunday.

8.              Use new 9 hole cards and play off your 9-hole course handicap, which will be visible when you sign-in on the computer or on your phone.

9.              All cards must be marked ‘Spring League’ - dated, signed by player and marker and include team name and competition week number.  Players mark each other's score cards as per current government covid guidelines.

10.            Please place completed scorecards in men’s/ladies scorecard boxes, after entering your score on the computer or your phone.

11.           Any holes under repair with shortened tee boxes are played as they are on the day.

12.            Results will be posted weekly.

13.            A person must have submitted cards in 3 different weeks in order to be eligible to win a prize.

14.            Prizes will be awarded for the 3 best teams. Prizes for best individual man & best individual lady will also be awarded - 4 weekly scores to count.

15.            In the event of a tie, the winners will be decided by the highest non-counting weekly score.
