Cor Buaile (The Knoll of the Milking Place)
Welcome to the first tee. ‘Corboley’ is the English form of the name of the townland in which the golf course is built. This is a corruption of ‘Corr Buaile’, or ‘booley’ means a ‘milking place’, so historically this townland has been associated with dairying. ‘Corr’ has a number of meanings including ‘a round hill’ or ‘knoll’.
