CECIL EWING SHIELD
(summary only - team captains should consult the complete set of rules)
1. Each Team shall consist of 10 members and a team Captain may
nominate two pairs as reserves.
2. Play shall be in Scotch Foursome Match Play.
3. Handicap Qualification: No Player shall be eligible to compete
in this Tournament whose playing Handicap is less than 17. For
the purpose of this Tournament the Handicap eligibility shall
be deemed to be the lowest playing handicap held by them in the
preceding calendar year, and the combined lowest playing handicap
of the Pair shall not be less than 36.
4. Age Qualification: No player who is under 22 years of age on
the first day of January of the year of the Tournament is eligible
to compete.
5. All Matches shall be played off scratch.
