CONNACHT SHIELD
(summary only - team captains should consult the complete set of rules)
1. Each Team shall consist of 10 members and a team Captain may
nominate two pairs as reserves.
2. Play shall be in Foursome Match Play.
3. Handicap Qualification: The handicap limit for any individual
player shall be 19, and the maximum handicap difference between
the pair shall be 8.
Members of the competing Teams must play off the lowest handicap
held by them in the preceding calendar year, or the year of the
event, whichever is lower.
Match Play Allowance: 1/2 of the difference between the aggregate
handicaps on either side.
