Men’s Winter Competitions – points deduction system – 2023-24
For the duration of the winter competitions, a points deduction system for prize winners will operate.
Each competition will have an overall winner and depending on the number playing, a number of sectional prizes may also be awarded.
Sectional winners. If the number of entries is sufficient then a competition may be split into either 2 or 3 sections. The cutoff point for each section will vary slightly from week to week depending on the number of entries and handicap profile of the total field. 1 Prize will be awarded to the winner of each section.
Penalties: The overall winner will incur a 2 shot penalty and each of the sectional winners will incur 1 penalty point. All penalties are cumulative and will remain in force until we revert to 18 competitions in the Spring.

- Bearna Junior Foursomes team defeated Dromoland by 2 matches to 1 in today’s Final in Knightsbrook to retain their title. Well done to all on a fantastic result.

Play in Pink day 2023 – April 27th
This 18 hole singles stableford competition is open to both members & visitors alike.
We will also reserve some tee times for those who only wish to play 9 holes.
Please support this very worthy event & help raise money for Breast Cancer Research.
